I was really looking forward to these. I love this favor combination, but I'm sorry to say I was disappointed. The flavor, which is in the powdered sugar, tasted artificial. Maybe I'm expecting too much to have it taste like real watermelon sprinkled with lemon juice and chili powder, but it wasn't even close. I wish I had gone with the traditional.
I've been disappointed with some of the recent flavors. Even though I love cream cycles, the Orange Cream last October was not my favorite. The spice from a couple years ago was alright, but I Loved the pumpkin from 2 years ago and love the peppermint at Christmas time.
